Cardi B is the latest celebrity to confirm she was not paid to appear and speak at Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign events.

Candace Owens contacted the hip-hop star Wednesday on X saying she was “working on a story” and wondering if she was “paid in any way to speak at Kamala” which she had attended before election day. Cardi responded that she “didn’t get a dollar.”

Cardi is the latest celebrity Harris supporter to be questioned about the terms of her involvement in the vice president’s presidential campaign. Earlier Wednesday, Oprah Winfrey confirmed that she “didn’t get paid a dime” for the $1 million live production she did for the campaign, but her team at Harpo Productions did.
