ASTANA – Kazakhstan will launch the Silk Road railway journey on November 16 with the first trip Almaty – Turkistan – Tashkent – ​​​​Almaty, the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports reported.

This unique railway circuit that connects Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will make travel more comfortable and accessible not only for citizens but also for foreign nationals who wish to learn more about the rich spiritual and historical heritage of the two countries.

The four-day tour includes key attractions such as Turkistan, Tashkent and Otyrar, one of Central Asia’s oldest cities and a major trading center. Travelers will see the Arystan Bab Mausoleum, the Museum of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve of Sultan Azret and the Caravanserai, the largest tourist complex of its type in Central Asia.

In Tashkent, tourists will get acquainted with historical sites and modern developments. The tour includes a guide, meals, transportation services and entrance tickets.
