“These capabilities, as a judicial innovation, will contribute to improving the efficiency of judges’ work, such as searching legal documents and selecting cases, as well as meeting public legal demand and serving further development high quality,” he said.

“Even though there are electronic devices to help judges do their work, they still have to spend a lot of time and energy searching and reviewing legal documents and files,” said Zhang Chengbing, an official with the People’s Court Press.

Once the platform is applied to judicial work, “it will help judges to quickly analyze and compare information from a large number of electronic files, capture key points and extract broad outlines, in order to further improve the efficiency of filing and reviewing cases,” he said. .

“Simply put, the platform acts as a digital assistant to judges, providing them with faster services for organizing, classifying and refining legal information,” he added.

He said that after more training, the platform will also improve the quality of public legal services, meaning it will be able to understand lay people’s questions on legal issues and provide them with accurate answers.
