THE the religious did not mince their words, pointing fingers at various government files and agencies for their inefficiency and entrenched corruption.

The criticisms of the bishops, of unprecedented intensity, reverberated across the political landscape, provoking a rapid and aggressive response from government officials.

Cabinet members, principal secretariesand other officials issued statements contradicting the allegations, sparking heated public debate.

Why is Ahmednasir disappointed with the government

Ahmednassir, known for his stances on political issues, expressed disappointment with the government’s approach, which he said amplifies the bishops’ criticisms instead of neutralizing them.

The lawyer urged the administration to recognize the legitimacy of concerns or focus on achieving results rather than engaging in counterproductive exchange.

“The government of Kenya is overreacting in its response to the Catholic bishops’ statement. If the bishops are telling the truth, take on board the criticism and correct it. If the statement is not true, ignore it and make -get it to the people of Kenya…but the government’s brutal and belligerent response is, in my humble opinion, its own agenda,” the lawyer said.
