Focus on winning the polling booths: PM Modi’s mantra to BJP workers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday asked BJP workers to concentrate their forces on winning the polling booths in the November 20 assembly elections in Maharashtra.

During a virtual interaction with BJP workers under the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ programme, Modi also asked them to hold booth-level meetings of women, youth and farmers, and told them suggested releasing videos of the BJP-led government’s projects.

Modi asked BJP booth workers to involve professionals such as doctors in propagating the party’s message among voters.

Accusing Maharashtra’s opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi of spreading lies, Modi said BJP workers should make this fact known to the voters.

“Everywhere I went, I saw the hard work of our workers,” Modi said.

“You all are strong soldiers of the BJP, you are direct representatives of Modi. People feel reassured by sharing their hopes and aspirations with you. They feel that if they tell you, they have told Modi,” he said.

“I also try to ensure that the reality on the ground reaches me through the workers. The vision of our government is that we develop so much together that everyone has the opportunity to progress,” he said.

Modi said the Congress knows his history. “Till the time when the SCs, STs and OBCs of the country were unaware of it, the Congress formed the government with full majority at the Centre,” he said.

“But since these communities came together, the Congress’s position has weakened. Therefore, the Congress now wants to break the SC, ST and OBC to such an extent that there is no power left to counter the Congress,” Modi said.

The Mahayuti government in Maharashtra is trying to empower every section of society, Modi said. “This is the difference between our government and the Maha Vikas Aghadi government and people feel this difference,” he added.

BJP booth workers must reach every household with a message for the Mahayuti alliance to be victorious in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Modi said.

The people of Maharashtra want the BJP-led Mahayuti government to remain in place for the next five years, he said.

“The Mahayuti government is trying to empower every section of society,” he said. “The people of Maharashtra are very impressed with the Mahayuti government. Everywhere I went, I saw this love,” he said.
