The general sale for Glastonbury Festival 2025 is set to arrive within days of the 30-minute coach ticket sale.

Festival organizers launched a new system for ticket buyers on Thursday (November 14), but many disappointed hopefuls branded it “horrible” after all the tickets were prepared.

According to Glastonbury’s website, fans were “randomly assigned a place in a queue” rather than having to refresh the queue page when tickets went live.

Unlucky fans who did not buy a ticket took to social media to criticize the new system, first introduced this year and which had already sparked concerns before the 6pm sale.

One addressed the festival organizer, posting on social media: “@emilyeavis why oh why did you enter this system. Worse than before. Punters hate it when it gets out of their control. It’s horrible.

No headliners have been announced for next year’s festival, but demand is expected to be higher than ever as Glastonbury, which runs from Wednesday June 25 to Sunday June 29, takes a year off in 2026.
