The war between Ukraine and Russia will “end sooner” than it would have once US President-elect Donald Trump returns to the White House, Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The president of Ukraine also said his country must ensure that the war ends “next year.” And he admitted that Russian forces were making territorial gains.
