The NFL fined two San Francisco 49ers players following last Sunday’s victory in Tampa against the Buccaneers. Facebook Kyle Juszczyk was fined $11,817 for a low block, and LB Fred Warner was fined $11,255 for wearing a mask. No Buccaneers players were fined.

Juszczyk was not called for the penalty during the match. The 49ers were called six times for penalties for 49 yards. But half of San Francisco’s penalties came on Tampa’s final drive, in which they scored the tying field goal.

Warner’s facemask penalty was one of three committed by the 49ers on that final Buccaneers drive. On an incomplete third down, Warner assessed the facemask penalty that gave the Buccaneers a series of extra downs.

The next two plays were also penalties. A first try brutalizing the passer penalty committed by DT Malik Collinsand a first attempt at illegal use of the hand penalty on DT EvanAnderson allowed Tampa to advance towards the equalizing basket. Neither Collins nor Anderson were fined.

The 49ers drove down the field for a game-winning field goal by Jak Moody after Tampa tied the game to improve to 5-4 on the season. They host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
