Skincare Pro Shares 5 Completely Free Tips for “Healthy, Radiant” Winter Skin

Many people may choose to invest a lot of money on lotions and treatments to achieve glowing skin.

While these methods can be beneficial, there are a number of completely “free” methods, according to one expert.

Dr Keyana Emamian, general practitioner and specialist in aesthetics, skin and hair at Este Medical Groupexplained: “We all want to look and feel our best as much as possible, and there are many amazing skincare products and treatments to help us achieve our goals.

“However, spending money is not the only way to help our skin look healthy and radiant.

“Simple changes to our daily routines can make a huge difference and make it feel like a trip to an expensive spa without costing a dime.”

1. Replace hot water with cold water

Everyone loves the feeling of warm water on their face, especially on a winter morning, but it could have a negative impact on the skin.

Instead, switch to cold water which can help cool the skin as well as reduce puffiness and inflammation.

2. Change your pillowcase

The skin pro noted, “It’s no secret our beds harbor a lot of dead skin, bacteria, and even tiny dust mites that can irritate our skin while we sleep.”

“Changing your pillowcase at least once a week and washing it in hot water to kill germs will help keep your complexion fresh.”

3. Massage your face

The feeling of a facial can be relaxing and refreshing, but you can do one yourself at home for free.

Use your fingers to gently massage under the eyes in a clockwise direction several times.

According to the professional, this will help stimulate circulation and reduce inflammation.

4. Drink water

Dr Keyana said: “What we put into our bodies has a real impact on our skin, which is why I make sure I drink at least two liters of water a day and eat a healthy diet.

“Dehydration can lead to dull and itchy skin, bags under the eyes, and more visible fine lines.”

5. Tone down makeup

Too much makeup can clog your pores, making them unable to breathe.

Additionally, according to the expert, many products contain chemicals that can contribute to problems like acne, dryness and dehydration.

The pro continued, “Maybe try toning down your makeup routine, switching to more natural products, or even going bare-faced a few days a week.” »
