FMGE December 2024: The National Board of Medical Science Education (NBEMS) will close the online application process for the December session of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) tomorrow November 18. Candidates can apply for the test at natboard.edu.in.

In case of any difficulty while applying for the test, such as refund of failed transactions, payment gateway related issues, etc., candidates can contact NBEMS on 7996165333 or on its helpline portal accessible through candidate connection.

For any questions regarding eligibility, documents and images, they can write on the board on the communication web portal.

The application fees are 6,195 (fees: 5,250 and GST 18%: 945).

Official notification

NBEMS will publish FMGE admission cards on January 8. The exam will be held on January 12 and the results will be announced on February 12.

THE FMGE The questionnaire will consist of 300 multiple choice questions. The document will be delivered in two parts of 150 questions each. There will be two sessions of 150 minutes each.

The questionnaire for each part of the FMGE will be divided into several time-limited sections. If there are 3 sections – Section A, B and C – in each part of the question paper, each of these sections will have 50 questions and 50 minutes will be allocated for the section.

Candidates are not allowed to move on to the next section until the time limit for a section has expired. No provision will be made to review or modify responses.

Once the time for one section has expired, the next one will start automatically.

There will be no negative marks on the test.

To pass the exam, candidates must score at least 150 points.

FMGE is the National Medical Commission (NMC) screening test that allows foreign medical graduates to practice in India.
