Six weeks have passed since Bigg Boss Tamil season 8, hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, aired on Vijay Television. On November 7, Riya Thigarajan became the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the show. She entered the show as a wildcard contestant two weeks ago. Riya broke down and repeatedly said she didn’t deserve this. Riya Thiagarajan is a popular Bigg Boss Tamil actor and critic.

The Saturday episode of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8 discussed the last week’s task. The Bigg Boss house has transformed into a school with some contestants playing the role of teachers and others playing the role of students.

Muthukumaran was awarded by the teachers as the best well-behaved student. Vijay Sethupathi spoke to the contestants about the task and how it evoked nostalgic memories of their school and childhood.

On Sunday (November 17), Vijay Sethupathi warned Rayan not to appear disinterested on the show. He was asked how he felt when he was moved to the women’s team. When he was explaining, Soundariya suggested a few words he could add, which irritated Vijay Sethupathi.

Later, the host asked Soundariya about his facial reactions. His roommates said his reactions were hurtful and dismissive. She was moved to tears when everyone blamed her and Sethupathi asked her to work on it.

Vijay Sethupathi then gave each of them cards with a series of numbers and asked them to see if the numbers were on the board placed in the garden of the house. Riya’s number was not listed and hence it was understood that she was kicked out of the show. Riya was devastated to learn that her time on Bigg Boss Tamil was over.

Muthukumaran and Sachana presented him with the medal that the former had won during the school assignment. Riya was inconsolable and expressed her shock while talking to Vijay Sethupathi. The anchor was also speechless, seeing how Riya could not accept her elimination.

Vijay Sethupathi then met the contestants inside the house and announced that men and women would now have to swap houses. Women will now be in charge of cooking and cleaning.
