Google Chrome no updates available during installation

They can download the installation file, but the installation process is interrupted and this message is seen again and again. For those who are facing this problem, the solutions described in this article will be helpful. If you are unable to install a Chrome update, this may happen if the update server is unavailable, your Internet connection is unstable, or the administrator disables updates. Your antivirus or firewall settings may also be the cause, as security tools can block software updates. Additionally, unwanted software or malware can also interrupt the update process.

3) Completely remove Chrome browser and reinstall it

Once you uninstall Google Chrome using Control Panel or Settings app, follow these steps:

  1. Open File Explorer, type C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google in the address bar, then press Enter. Delete Chrome folder
  2. Access C:\Programs\Google and delete Chromium folder from this location
  3. Go to C:\Programs (x86)\Google and delete the Chrome folder
  4. Navigate to the following path in the Registry Editor window and delete it Google key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node

Restart your PC and run the Google Chrome installer. You will now be able to complete the installation process.
