Ahead of this week’s blockbuster shareholders’ meeting, Mineral Resources directors were asked whether they were aware the company was buying property part-owned by chief executive Chris Ellison.

Thursday’s meeting will be the first time MinRes directors have met with shareholders since saying they were “deeply” disappointed by Mr Ellison’s failure to fully disclose an offshore tax arrangement and his habit of using company resources for personal gain.
