The National Weather Service issued a report at 4:20 a.m. EST Monday of fog until 7 a.m. EST for Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe Counties.

“Areas of fog, locally dense, will sometimes reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less. Fog is expected to lift between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Drivers should be alert for sudden drops in visibility. Slow down and allow enough time space between you and the vehicle in front of you,” says the weather service.
