At the audio launch of his upcoming film Kanguva, actor Suriya spoke about choosing love over hate and returning to cinema.

Actor Suriya ” was candid at the audio launch of his upcoming film Kanguva in Chennai. The actor opened up about the ups and downs of his career and how he chose love over hate, asking his fans to do the same. “I would be very angry”

Suriya said about his career, “I have seen many ups and downs in my career. We only experience success when we feel the pain of failures. He also explained how he decided to change the way he reacted to negative comments, adding: “About five or six years ago I was like Rolex (his antagonistic character in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Vikram)… there was extreme anger. I would be very angry if I read a negative tweet or anything. But forgiveness is such a beautiful thing.

Suriya said that the only way to rise above everything is to spread love rather than negativity. He said: “No matter how much hatred others sow, we only need to spread love. It’s the only way to rise above. No need to waste your time reacting to negative comments. Time is precious. The actor also credited Kanguva Director Siva for helping him change his outlook on life, saying that this thought process reflects the director’s way of thinking.

Suriya told PTI that he always wondered when we would see films like Braveheart and Lord of the Rings in India. “We loved films (and series) like Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones or Apocalypto. We were fascinated by them and watched them several times. The question was: when are we going to make such films? he told the agency.

Speaking about Kanguva at a recent press conference, Suriya said, “It’s not just an action film with swords and violence, it will have a lot of emotion. The reason for the fight between five islands is something I haven’t seen on screen recently. The film is about forgiveness, which is the purest and highest form of love. This is the central idea.

Kanguva will be released in theaters on November 14. It features Bobby Déol and Disha Patani in the lead roles, and Suriya will play a dual role.
