The 10 former ministers of the Awami League (AL) government, two advisors, a retired Appellate Division judge and a former interior minister will be produced tomorrow (November 18) before the International Crimes Tribunal in a case of genocide and crimes against humanity during the anti-Islamic war. -Student movement against discrimination, prosecutor Abdullah Al Noman said today (November 17).

Those who will be presented in court are Anisul Haque, Faruk Khan, Rashed Khan Menon, Hasanul Haq Inu, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Towfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, Dipu Moni, Salman F Rahman, Dr Abdur Razzaq, Shajahan Khan, Kamal Ahmed. Majumder, Golam Dastagir Gazi, Justice Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik and former interior minister Jahangir Alam.

The three-member International Crimes Tribunal, headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumder, issued the orders. The other members are Justice Md Shafiul Alam Mahmud and Justice Md Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.

The court ordered that the accused be produced before the court before November 18, the date of the next hearing. As a result, those arrested are brought before the court.

Attorney General Mohammad Tajul Islam represented the state in the proceedings.
