Pokemon TCG Pocket Players Slam ‘Impossible’ Event Before It Even Starts

At launch, Pokémon TCG Pocket offered players a number of concurrent events, from Wonder Picks to versus battles and beyond. But now a new leak suggests the next event will be much more difficult, if not impossible.

As @PokeGirlLauren shared on Twitter, this upcoming event is rumored to involve more PvP battles to earn emblems. This is nothing new, as the Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1 allows players to rack up wins to earn badges for their profile. However, if rumors are to be believed, this next Pokémon TCG Pocket the battle event won’t be so simple.

If this information proves correct, there will be four total Emblems up for grabs in this upcoming battle event, each requiring at least a few consecutive wins.

  • Participation emblem: 2 consecutive victories
  • Bronze Emblem: 3 consecutive victories
  • Silver Emblem: 4 consecutive victories
  • Gold Emblem: 5 consecutive victories

This means that this time around, simply fighting until you get the required kills through luck or skill won’t be enough. Even the first level, called Participation Emblem, requires at least two consecutive victories. For players who concede at first sight Foggy + Combo Lapras EX or who are always chasing powerful cards to pin their dream deck, this is not good news.

On Reddit, Pokémon TCG Pocket fans are already making their feelings known about this upcoming event, and those feelings are… not entirely positive.

As one Reddit user says: “Lol, 5 wins in a row in the draw simulator, you must be lucky. » Indeed, many of the current popular strategies in the game, you have to rely on draws for supporter cards like Misty and inconsistent attackers like Marowak EX. But for those who manage to maintain a winning streak, new profile emblems are in store.

Many players have already put a stop to this golden emblem, noting that there is virtually no chance of achieving five wins in a row. While a few experienced fighters have managed to maintain streaks of up to six wins in the past, the game’s matchmaking system makes it difficult to plan opponent’s type advantages and strategies. This means that a Lapras EX deck winning one battle could find itself crushed by its next opponent’s Pikachu EX, restarting that winning streak.

While many are already giving up on this “impossible” task, some Pokémon TCG Pocket fans await their final judgment. As of now, it is unclear if profile emblems will be the only prize up for grabs with these wins, or if there will be any at all. other rewards yet to be revealed. If these five wins in a row are all about the bragging rights of the profile emblem, many fans may overlook it. But if Pack Hourglasses or other exciting in-game items are up for grabs, that may be a different story.

For those who view a five-game winning streak as impossible, there is already a community plan at work. Some players attempt to help other TCG enthusiasts achieve the impossible by conceding, leaving their opponents to default to one of these consecutive victories.

As of now, there is no official word from Pokémon TCG Pocket about when this difficult event will begin. However, with Genetic Apex Emblem Event 1 set to end on November 28, many fans are expecting to see the next battle event take place in the coming weeks.
