His current affidavit does not mention her, which suggests they are now separated. While in his Lok Sabha affidavit, he identified Manorama as his wife, detailing their jointly owned properties and describing their household as an “undivided Hindu family”.

Dilip Khedkar had earlier contested the general elections from Ahmednagar constituency under Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi Party, but did not win.

India Today TV revealed that the couple filed for divorce by mutual consent in the Pune Family Court in 2009, finalizing their separation on June 25, 2010. Despite their divorce, reports suggest that they continued to live together in a bungalow in the Baner district of Pune, owned by Manorama. , which may explain its mention in the Lok Sabha affidavit.

Meanwhile, Manorama was recently released on bail in an attempted murder case after a video surfaced showing her brandishing a gun during a confrontation over a land dispute. Additional Sessions Judge AN Mare granted him bail two weeks after his arrest, imposing conditions such as not influencing witnesses and cooperating with the investigation.
