Authorities seek answers in Minnesota hunter’s killing

MORRISON COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) – The Morris County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in solving an 8-year-old homicide case involving a man killed in November 2016.

Authorities believe Terrence (Terry) Brisk was shot with his own rifle while deer hunting on his parents’ property on November 7, 2016. Based on evidence collected at the scene, it was determined that the The suspect was in close proximity to Terry, and it is believed that Terry and the suspect interacted before the murder. Despite numerous investigative efforts, the case remains unsolved.

“The suspect must be held accountable for his actions,” the sheriff’s office said on social media.

Sheriff Shawn Larsen says every piece of information can be crucial, no matter how minor. There is still a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder of Terry Brisk.
