Hanumankind will become only the second Indian artist to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival after Diljit Dosanjh.

Malayali rapper Hanumankind, who rose to international fame this year with his viral hit Big Dawgs, is set to hit another major milestone. He will become only the second Indian artist to perform at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, after Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, who made history in 2024 as the first Indian artist on the iconic stage.

The 2025 edition of Coachella will take place at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California over two weekends: April 11-13 and April 18-20. This year’s lineup promises an eclectic mix of global superstars and emerging talents. Headliners include Travis Scott, who unveils a new musical chapter following the success of his album Utopia, Lady Gaga, who makes a triumphant return since her 2017 performance, and Green Day, who makes their festival debut.

Other notable artists include Megan Thee Stallion, Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, Lisa, Jennie, Zedd, GloRilla, Ben Böhmer and The Original Misfits. Rising star Tyla, who canceled her 2024 performance, will make her debut, while Post Malone, who teased his appearance earlier this year, is expected to wow audiences.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 22, with general admission starting at $599. VIP packages, camping options, preferred parking and shuttle passes will also be available. Participants can opt for a 50/50 payment plan, with the balance due by February 15, 2025.

For Indian fans, Diljit Dosanjh’s breakthrough performance at the 2024 festival was a defining moment, introducing Punjabi music to Coachella’s global audience. Last year’s edition also featured headliners Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat and Tyler, the Creator, as well as a No Doubt reunion special. Even Taylor Swift, although she wasn’t performing, attracted attention as a spectator.

This year, Hanumankind is set to take up the mantle again, bringing Indian hip-hop to the global stage and cementing its pioneering place in the music industry. With its exceptional lineup and rich cultural diversity, Coachella 2025 is poised to deliver another unforgettable experience.
