It’s not the only retailer doing this either, as its tech competitors including Currys,Argos, Very, Samsung (and much more) also reveal their sales before the end of November. The good news for buyers is that there are plenty of options, the tricky part being that it can be difficult to pick up on all the ‘noise’ – so to help you find a real bargain, our resident tech team has the did it for you.

Earlier this week, our tech editors Dave Snelling and Henry Burrell selected “Six of the Best First Tech Deals” with articles like the GooglePixel 8 Pro, FitBit Charge 6, THE Echo Dot Pack (which flew off the shelves), and Samsung’s budget-friendly Galaxy A35 mobile on the list. Don’t miss… The Amazon Black Friday sale started early – here are the 6 best tech deals (LATEST)

Echo Spot – Tech Editor Dave Snelling’s Top Pick

“The echo point returned to homes earlier this year in a surprise Amazon reboot. This latest bedside device now features a larger screen, sleek design, and a more impressive speaker. It also ditched the creepy – and widely criticized – camera that was built into the original Spot,” says technical editor Dave Snelling.

“I’ve been using the 2024 model since its launch and it’s now one of my favorite Echos for years. It looks good, the screen is really useful without being obtrusive and it delivers sound with enough volume to fill a standard size room in your home.
It’s also powered by Alexa, so you’ll get a helpful response to questions and commands while still being able to control your smart home devices.

“At an asking price of £79.99, the Spot is harder to fully recommend as there are much cheaper options such as the Dot and Pop, but Amazon’s sale has now reduced this cost to under £50 , which makes it a much more tempting purchase.”

New Amazon Kindle – Associate Editor Henry Burrell’s Pick

Kindle matcha green

Amazon’s latest Kindle tops our list (Image: Amazon)

Henry Burrell said: “This Kindle has just been released so a saving of £15 is great to see. £79.99 gets you a lightweight e-reader that you can stash in a jacket pocket, with a front light for reading at night.

“It charges quickly via USB-C and comes in black or a rather attractive matcha green. There is an option to pay £10 more to get an ad-free lock screen version, which we recommend. Still , it’s a superb Kindle for under £100.

“The only thing missing compared to more expensive Kindles is water resistance. With access to the huge Kindle store with millions of titles and 16GB of storage, you can carry your entire library at a discount .”

Hisense 43-inch TV – Our Business Editor Harriet Morphy-Morris’s Pick

Over the past few weeks, this Hisense 4K TV participated in Amazon’s sales, and as of now, more than 1,000 buyers have purchased it this month alone. Overnight it was reduced even further and it’s available for £217 cheaper.

Our Business Editor Harriet Morphy-Morris explains why it’s worth taking a look, as she says: “It’s one of the newest models launched in ‘s flashy 2024 TV range Hisense. With a mediocre 43-inch screen, this would be a perfect fit. (in terms of size) in most compact city center apartments, all without compromising picture quality.

“Its standout features can be found with its Freely link so you can catch up on all your favorite live TV shows while accessing on-demand streaming channels with the click of a remote. Youtube, Disney+, Netflix and NowTV will also be delivered locked and ready in this unit, so it will fit most homes.

Putting together our best recommended deals, a few of us were quick to call this Sony pair to be a good choice. As Henry Burrell and Christopher Harper recommended the noise-canceling pair and they have discounts ranging from £379.99 to £247.

Both highlight this premium Sony model for its quality noise-blocking features and smart features, as Henry said: “Sony’s latest premium over-ear headphones are some of the best you can buy , and this price represents a significant saving.

“They feature incredible noise cancellation that can block out aircraft noise for a peaceful journey, as well as superior wireless sound quality and a long battery life of 30 hours. They come with a protective case and charge via USB-C, and have smart features so you can set them to change modes based on your location or automatically let in sound when you start speaking in noise canceling mode.

While Chris chose them after owning a pair of slightly older models WH-1000XM4as he stated: “These headphones are some of the best on the market and although they are expensive, these cans might be some of the best with amazing noise cancellations.

“Having owned previous XM4 earbuds, these are a good choice if you are looking for good, high-end wireless earbuds.”

THE Amazon Fire TV 55-inch Omni QLED Series The price was previously £749.99, but is now £419.

It has a 4K QLED display for watching TV or streaming with richer, more vibrant colors than standard HD.

It’s not the newest Samsung tablet, but we still think this model is a good buy (Image: Amazon)

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A9+ is now available to buy for £154.99, instead of the usual price of £239, a saving of 35%.

“This Samsung tablet features a high-resolution 11” screen and four speakers powered by Dolby Atmos, so it’s perfect for streaming the latest movies and series. Its battery can run for up to 10 hours, while the Android software lets you multitask with up to three apps open at the same time,” as our writer Jake points out.

The Tab A9+ was released in November 2023 but still holds up well as a premium budget tablet. This is a great option for buyers looking for a new device, but don’t want to shell out hundreds for newer models.

This won’t be on many buyers’ lists, but if you’re looking for a way to increase your PC storage then we have just an option for you in the Amazon sale. The Samsung 990 Pro SSD is now on offer, which you can buy here.

And it’s one that our writer Christopher Harper says is ideal for gamers. As he said: “This SSD is a great price for PS5 or PC gamers who want to increase their storage for all the latest and greatest games coming out in late 2024.

“It’s an extremely fast drive and comes with Samsung reliability. If you want to add it to your PS5, make sure you buy a heatsink that you can attach to it.

That’s over £60 off its usual price, bringing it down to £129.99 Although this is the only deal on our list, it’s a lightning deal. This means it comes with limited inventory, so if you’re considering it, you shouldn’t wait too long: 6% of their allocation has already been sold at the time of writing.
