SANTA FE, NM — The Western Governors’ Foundation announced the launch of

2025 Western Governors’ Leadership Institute, a program designed to recognize, reward and promote leadership among Western young adults.

Selected delegates will attend a leadership development forum in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on June 22, during which conversations with governors, CEOs and other prominent thought leaders will be held. They will also attend the Western Governors’ Association annual meeting June 23-25 ​​as guests of the foundation. The foundation covers all expenses related to delegate participation.

Applicants for the leadership forum must be between the ages of 21 and 26 as of June 22. They must also be permanent residents of Western states or territories whose governor is an active member of the WGA, including North Dakota, Montana, and South Dakota. Enrolled members of state and federally recognized tribes living in the West are also eligible to apply.
