PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A busy Phoenix roadway was closed after a fatal crash Wednesday evening.

Phoenix police confirmed northbound and southbound traffic was closed near 32nd Street and Roeser Road after the crash, which occurred around 7 p.m. Details are limited, but at least one person was killed.

A heavy police presence could be seen as detectives pieced together what led to the wreck.

No further information has been released. An investigation is underway.
