“As a major tourist destination, Delhi has immense potential for revenue growth, and with this decision, an increase in revenue through license fees is expected,” the government said in a statement.

Restaurant owners are excited about the move because they believe this step will improve nightlife for diners as well as area travelers who prefer to stay close to the airport.

“The recent government directive allowing 24/7 opening of all restaurants at New Delhi Aerocity is a significant advantage for our hotel. With Quoin, our Novotel sports bar, already operating 24 hours a day, this policy further enhances our ability to serve our guests with unparalleled convenience. We are excited to gradually extend this accessibility to all our restaurants, including Honk and Farmer’s Basket, to seamlessly cater to travelers and local guests,” shares Prasanna Venkatesh, Director of Catering, Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity. .

Another restaurateur, Sarthak Sidana, director at Underdoggs, believes this is a game-changer for both businesses and customers. He says: “This extended period will enhance the nightlife scene, providing people with the opportunity to enjoy diverse experiences at their own pace. We are excited to welcome guests at any time to experience the dynamic atmosphere that defines Aerocity.

Amit Bagga of Daryaganj Restaurants shares a similar view, stating that this new offering will be an exciting addition to both tourists and Delhi locals looking to elevate their weekend experiences. “As a family restaurant, our intention is to offer this service specifically for weekends, creating a special treat for families. That said, we are currently uncertain about permission from the Delhi Police and we do not We will only proceed once we have the necessary approvals.” he shared.

Umang Tewari, founder of Liv Bar, notes that this initiative will greatly benefit late-night travelers and corporate employees working late hours. “Not only does it generate revenue, but it also raises the standard of nightlife in India. With more opening hours, we can also be more dynamic in catering to a diverse audience,” he added.

Sharad Madan and Naresh Madan, co-founders and directors of Khubani, highlight: “Extending our opening hours at Aerocity to 24/7 is a transformative move. This will enhance tourism and nightlife, providing customers with increased convenience and dynamic experiences.
