Just over two months shy of his 40th birthday, Ronaldo displayed athletic talent that a player half his age would have been proud of when he met Vitinha’s cross.

It was his 135th goal, a world record, and his 35th since he was 35, two frankly ridiculous figures.

This could have been one of his best.
