LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – One person was seriously injured after a crash.

Police said they were called to the intersection of Nicholasville Road and Reynolds Road around 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

They say a car crossed the median and hit another car.

The drivers of both cars were hospitalized, with one seriously injured.

Traffic was diverted while the Lexington Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene.
