It’s time for Deadlock to introduce an arachnophobia setting, as its new hero can unleash “a wave of spectral spiders” on enemies.

Many new heroes were introduced The dead ends Hero Labs over the past few weeks, including Slork, Holliday and Viper, but the most recent addition might be the most controversial in the game, as its entire kit revolves around creepy crawlies that people generally don’t like.

Trapper is now available to play in Hero Labs and has a kit that isn’t all that different from heroes like Kelvin and Viscous, as it is largely used to stun enemies and heal allies. When cast, Trapper’s first ability, Bottled Phantasmicide, leaves a pool of poison on the ground, which can damage enemies over time and slow them down if they pass through it. Its next ability, Silktrap, also restricts players’ movements by creating a webbing thread between two surfaces that, if an enemy passes through them, will slow them down and deal damage. The third ability, called Pest Barrier, supports teammates by granting them +200 Spirit Shield health.
