YouTuber mortified after discovering huge problem with $39,000 house he bought on Amazon

A YouTuber who purchased a $39,000 home on Amazon discovered a major defect after failing to read the product description.

Nathan Graham, YouTube channel Unspeakablepurchased a ready-made home for $38,999 to see if the online retailer could actually provide a fully furnished home.

When the house arrived it was packed in a Amazon-branded box and had to be unfolded. It included windows and a bathroom, but, surprisingly, it contained no assembly instructions.

As Graham explored the 19-by-20-foot Chery Industrial prefab expandable home, he tried to plug in a small refrigerator, only to realize there was no electrical outlet.

“I’m trying to find somewhere to plug in the refrigerator, but there’s no electrical outlet,” he said in his video, which has since garnered 7.5 million views.

The YouTuber had overlooked an important detail in the product description, which read: “Reminder: Mobile Prefab House is not wired. Please hire an electrician for American standard wiring. Be careful!”

Luckily, Graham planned ahead and purchased a generator to power essentials like the refrigerator and a television. He also stocked up on a bunk bed, sofa, tables, vacuum cleaner, games, kitchen appliances and food.

Amazon noted that the property also does not include any appliances, furniture, water source, or drainage and sewer connections, so the buyer will have to provide these essentials themselves.

The house looks slim and compact right out of the box, but after the YouTuber unfolded it, it revealed a complete structure with four walls, a roof and windows.

Graham and his friends realized that while you can order almost anything on Amazon, it’s crucial to read the fine print to learn all the details about the product.

Earlier this year, a TikToker Immediately Regretted Buying a $24,000 Amazon Home because the ceilings were “very low”.
