The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 8:44 a.m. Tuesday, effective from 7 p.m. until 10 a.m. Wednesday for Harney County.

The weather service describes: “Southeast winds are 20 to 30 mph with general gusts of 35 to 45 mph expected. Localized gusts could reach 50 mph. »

“Gusts of wind will blow around unsecured objects. Tree branches may be downed and some power outages may result,” the weather service says. “Such strong winds can make driving difficult, especially for high-end vehicles. Use extreme caution.”
