Bears Introduce Reusable Cups and New Premium Dining Experiences to United Club at Soldier Field

At no additional cost, fans will receive a reusable cup – which ranges from 9 oz. wine cups to 20 oz. domestic draft beer cups – from a concession stand, then drop them into a marked collection bin when finished. After the game, Janitorial and Environmental Services will collect the cups and Bold Reuse – a global leader in reusable packaging systems owned and operated by women – will complete the pickup, cleaning, disinfection and return process.

The implementation of reusable cups is a continuation of the club’s priority in terms of sustainability. In recent years, the Bears have introduced other programs such as oil recycling and conversion, water usage reduction and material recycling.

“With the participation and support of our entire organization, we have implemented many successful initiatives on our Halas Hall campus,” said Halas Hall Building Services Manager Zack Bero. “This pilot is an ideal opportunity to expand our focus at Soldier Field and engage with our fans on game day.”

Upscale Dining Options

Two new premium dining and beverage experiences are also coming to the United Club, in partnership with Levy Restaurants, to deliver an enhanced matchday experience for fans.

The International Room will be active for the Nov. 10 game against the Patriots, while the City Room will debut Nov. 17 against the Packers. Passes for both venues are available for purchase now for the remainder of the season at https://www.chicagobears.com/game-day/premium-club-experiences. In order to purchase the enhanced experience, fans must first have United Club tickets.

“The Bears are excited to finally bring these elevated spaces to life at the United Club at Soldier Field,” said Brendan Pierce, director of premium seating sales and customer service. “Through Levy’s vision of transforming these venues into exceptional experiences for our premium seat holders, we are able to offer top-notch hospitality and create special moments in the traditional match day atmosphere. “

The International Room features a globally inspired menu that will vary with each game and is prepared by renowned chefs and sommeliers. Guests can expect carefully crafted wine selections, specialty cocktails and a premium bar program in an upscale and intimate setting.

The bespoke experience is limited to 60 guests and includes premium food and drinks starting two hours before kick-off, during the action and continuing one hour after the match with a social hour, snacks full bars and small bites.

The City Room will pay homage to Chicago’s culinary culture with a menu highlighting the city’s best dishes and a robust bar program featuring favorite cocktails, craft beers and matching wines. The premium experience is limited to 80 guests, with the same pre- and post-match timing as the International Room.
