Taylor Swift made history with the Grammy nominations list released Friday. The pop icon became the only woman to be nominated for the seventh time in the album of the year categories.

Swift received a total of six nominations at the ceremony, tied with Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan. The Mightnights singer was nominated for her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, released in April 2024.

In addition to being nominated for Album of the Year, Swift also earned nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Music Video, all for her track of TTPD, Fortnight.

Meanwhile, Swift wasn’t the only one making history with the drop in Grammy nominations. Beyoncé topped the nominations list receiving 11 nominations on Friday night. His album Cowboy Carter became the only album in history to be the most nominated in the history of the ceremony.
