First warning forecast from meteorologist April Loveland

Much cooler and more autumnal today. A cold front brought some drier, more seasonal air to the area. Expect highs in the 60s under mostly sunny skies.

Sunday will be dry with clouds accumulating throughout the day. Scattered light showers will be possible late Sunday into the first part of the day Monday. The weather will be milder with temperatures reaching the 70s.

Scattered light showers will be possible on Veterans Day, but we should see a gradual fading and improvement after 2 p.m. It will be another mild day with highs in the 70s.

A new recovery period is on the way for Tuesday. Temperatures will only rise to the low 60s, about 10 degrees cooler than Monday. The weather looks dry with partly cloudy skies.

A similar day is expected Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 60s.

A spot shower cannot be ruled out Thursday, but for now the weather looks mostly dry with highs in the mid-60s.

The dry period will continue until the end of the work week. Expect highs in the 60s.
