I-94 at WIS 26, Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wisconsin. – A three-vehicle crash closed the westbound lanes of I-94 at WIS 26 near Johnson Creek on Thursday morning, November 21. Crews responded to the scene around 3:55 a.m.

The accident involved three heavy-duty pickup trucks, each pulling large tandem axle trailers. The three trucks suffered heavy damage and one of the caravans was completely destroyed.

The area between the Route 267 westbound exit ramp and on-ramp remained closed for nearly four hours while emergency crews cleared vehicles and debris from the roadway.

The occupants were slightly injured.
