More than 130,000 Ford Focus and Ford EcoSport Vehicles equipped with the 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine and automatic transmission have been recalled due to a problem with the belt driving the oil pump, known as a wet belt.

The same engine and gearbox configuration was offered on the Focus, EcoSport and Fiesta in the UK. Although there have been several reports of problems with this engine and gearbox combination in the UK, Ford has yet to announce a recall here.
