After three incredible episodes for Act 1 of Arcane Season 2, we can’t wait to see what Act 2 has in store for us. While Piltover and Zaun seem destined for war, will Jinx become the savior from Zaun? Will Viktor trigger a technological evolution? So many questions remain unanswered in Act 2, so here’s what we expect from the next batch of episodes.

Arcane is the prequel animated series to Riot Game’s hit MOBA. League of Legends. Produced by Riot Games and French animation studio Fortiche, the series has received critical acclaim, impressing millions of fans around the world and introducing the franchise to new audiences.

Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the downtrodden slum of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions and the power that will tear them apart.

Arcane Season 2 Act 2 arrives on Netflix on November 16, 2024.

What to expect from Arcane Act 2?

Piltover goes to war.

After Jinx attacked the Piltover Council, Ambessa Megarda used the period of mourning to her advantage by sowing the seeds of war between the two nations.

Her manipulation of the events of Act 1 allowed the vengeful Caitlyn Kirammanyn to become general and leader of Piltover, which is now under martial law.

In addition to using it in her attack squad in the search for Jinx, Caitlyn resisted the use of hex technology. However, with Ambessa’s influence continuing to goad Caitlyn, we would expect her to arm Ambessa’s law enforcement and soldiers with hex tech as they take the fight to the next level. directly to Zaun.

A broken Vi

Vi couldn’t bring herself to kill her little sister Jinx and, in doing so, lost the respect of her lover Caitlyn.

In the second season preview, we see Vi dyeing her hair and participating in underground fights, which is likely to release all her pent-up anger.

Vi probably won’t have a place to live, as the people of Zaun will consider her a traitor after donning an enforcer’s uniform. Meanwhile, she won’t be welcomed by Piltover’s law enforcement either, who might also consider her a traitor for abandoning her post.

Either way, Vi is a fighter and no matter what happens, she will be there to stop the bloodshed.

Jinx, Zaun’s savior?

After Silco’s death, instead of uniting and taking the fight to Piltover, the criminal gangs were fighting for control of Zaun. Most of the criminal gang leaders are now dead, creating an even bigger power vacuum inside the city.

Although it was not her intention, Jinx inadvertently established herself as a symbol of defiance and rebellion for Zaun. As Pilover fights against Zaun, the town and its people now look to Jinx for leadership, which is shown in the preview as her followers don her powder blue hair and lilac outfit.

Viktor the Hexcore messiah?

After merging with the Hexcore, Viktor’s body became a mixture of human and machine. After leaving Jace and the academy, we last saw Viktor on the streets of Zaun, where a group of shimmering drug addicts were going to try to assault him. However, instead of harming them, he helped heal one of the attackers, which not only removed all traces of shimmer, but also aged and healed their eyesight. After witnessing such an act, Shimmer’s fellow addicts fell to their knees in awe of what they witnessed.

Given Viktor’s appearance, there are obvious parallels to religious figures such as Jesus or Moses. Will Viktor be the true savior of Zaun, or will he force its inhabitants to join him on his journey towards a new advance in human evolution?

Where is Jace?

Jace, Ekko, and Heimedinger were beneath the city, inside the gem mesh. However, what was plaguing Viktor was also inside the mesh of gems, which sent the trio into a strange new dimension. It’s unclear what this means for the city and the future of Hextech, but if any trio could deduce or solve what’s going on, it would be these three.

When Jace returns, we suspect he will be shocked to discover that Piltover has entered martial law with Caitlynn leading it as commander.

Will Mel be able to escape the Black Rose?

The Black Rose attempted to assassinate Ambessa but failed. Instead, the faction turned their attention to Mel and managed to trap her in a dimension manifested by their magic.

Mel is intelligent and has shown herself to be very resourceful, so to escape danger or the influence of the Black Rose, it will take all of her intelligence to escape.
