Georgian authorities said Tuesday that Russians appeared to be behind fake bomb threats against two urban polling stations, but that the threats did not disrupt voting.

The hoax affected polling places in Fulton and Clayton counties, Georgia.

“These appear to be Russia-related hoaxes and thorough investigations are underway,” Jordan Fuchs, a spokesperson for Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, told Just the News. Fuchs said the threats were made virtually and there appeared to be no bombshell in either one. voting continues unimpeded, she said.
