Elon Musk uses X to unleash his flying monkeys on obscure federal employees

What a shame about a handsome billionaire who thinks he’s the lord of the far right because his self-esteem is so minimal that he’s irreparably damaged while being tied to the new shit administration? A lot. It appears we now have two elected presidents. Leon is as crazy a choice as the rest of Trump’s appointees. Even if Xitter was worth much more when he took over to play football with the far right, as serial bankrupt filer Donald Trump’s efficiency czar, our economy will suffer.

One of those reasons is that the ambitious Trump/Musk plan lay off federal employees The unemployment rate will rise after President Joe Biden hands a booming economy to his successor. Of course, at first, Donald will take credit for Biden’s economy.

And now Leon Musk is using his huge support for Xitter to attack federal employees by name. I’m not shitting you.

Via The Wall Street Journal:

As co-director of President-elect Donald Trump’s new Department of Government Effectiveness, Elon Musk wasted no time posting to his 205 million followers on swollen.

But this week, Musk shifted from targeting government agencies to individuals, prompting his army of online followers to launch scathing critiques of ordinary federal employees.

A recent article by the billionaire focused on Ashley Thomas, a little-known director of climate diversification at the US International Development Finance Corporation, after another user of Musk’s social media platform his role.

Musk’s new post – “So Many Fake Jobs” – garnered 32 million views, sparking an avalanche of memes and mockery from his supporters against the employee, such as “Sorry Ashley Thomas Gravy Train is Over.”

He spends a lot of time posting on Xitter, the platform he destroyed, where users are fleeing to Bluesky.

Musk’s targets this week included Alexis Pelosi, a relative of California Rep. Nancy Pelosi and a senior climate adviser at the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

But that message also included the names of two obscure federal officials in climate-related positions, including one who actually left her job at the Department of Energy in August.

“These tactics are intended to instill terror and fear among federal employees,” said Everett Kelley, president of the American Federation of Government Employees, which represents more than 800,000 of the 2.3 million federal civilian employees. “It’s meant to make them fearful of speaking out.”

It seems Exactly like Project 2025:

In an opinion piece published Wednesday in the Wall Street Journal, the two men envisioned “massive downsizing” across the federal bureaucracy. On Wednesday, Musk shared on X an earlier television interview with Milton Friedman in which the economist recommended eliminating a number of federal agencies, including the departments of Education, Commerce, Agriculture, Housing and urban development. “Milton Friedman was the best,” Musk said, seemingly in agreement.

Ramaswamy, in interviews, proposed an unusually heavy-handed — and likely impossible to implement — strategy to dramatically reduce the federal workforce: fire those whose Social Security numbers begin or end with odd numbers. “Boom. This is a 75 percent reduction achievedhe said during a podcast interview this fall.

Musk implemented the same strategy on Xitter by drastically downsizing, but it resulted in a lack of moderation, resulting in a site full of wannabe Edgelords, similar to Truth Social.

How can an ordinary federal employee attract the attention of Musk, the richest man in the world?

The controversy erupted when “datahazard,” an X user whose anti-Biden posts caught Musk’s attention, questioned Thomas’ work in front of nearly 170,000 followers on Tuesday.

Musk’s repost sparked an avalanche of taunts, with his supporters jeering along the lines of: “Tough way for Ashley Thomas to find out she’s losing her job.” »

Michael Skolnik, a longtime civil rights activist, was among those who fought back against that message. “You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and you are dangerously targeting someone who works honestly to provide for their family.”

Idiot Mr. Skolnik, the cruelty is the important point. We have two dangerous narcissistic clowns who are constantly seeking attention by playing the role of president-elect. Musk fired X’s election integrity team ahead of the 2024 election. And of course, Aaron Rodericks, the department’s co-head, was the target of a right-wing harassment campaign after trying to hire new staff to combat political misinformation. Musk, a conspiracy theorist, or at least he plays one on Xitter, is now among the most followed users spreading misinformation and propaganda.

He certainly seems to be happy about a damn hard worker losing their job. Once again, cruelty is the issue.
