I haven’t played a typing game since I was a freshman in high school and was forced to take dance mat typing classes. I didn’t do a great job back then, and after all these years of perfecting my own monstrous version of Frankenstein’s touch typing, it turns out I haven’t improved much.

The goal in Typing stars is simply to type 60 words as quickly as possible and climb to the top. There is nothing else to do. But even still, I found myself spending way too much time trying to beat my new nemesis, who has been at the top of the leaderboards since I started this game. The name of this nemesis is Mollie Taylor, producer of the PC Gamer features.
