Stuffcool is an Indian accessories manufacturer that needs no introduction; the brand offers an exhaustive range of powerbanks and chargers, and I use its products quite a bit. THE Ultra major continues to be a good choice if you want a 20,000 mAh battery that hits 65W via the USB PD protocol, but if you need something smaller you should take a look at the Mega 40.

The Mega 40 is one of the smallest power banks on the market and it fits easily in your palm. Unlike the rest of Stuffcool products, the power bank has a rather distinctive dark gray aesthetic. In fact, it reminds me UGREEN’s 145W power bank and the recent Nexode 200W Power Banks – the design similarities are uncanny, including the window at the top that houses an LED panel.

What I like about the power bank is that it has curved edges and the design is much sleeker than the blocky options in the Major Ultra series. The sides have a textured pattern that makes it easier to hold the power bank, and it’s a thoughtful addition. I think Stuffcool should just use the Mega 40 design as a basis for future products; Having used all the brand’s power banks so far, I can confidently say that it has the best design.

The Mega 40 has a button on the side that turns on the LED panel, and unlike the Nexode 200W series or other more expensive options, you don’t get much ease of use – the panel simply displays the level of remaining battery and whether the power bank charges other devices (output) or the internal battery (input).

Despite its small size, the Mega 40 has a 10,000 mAh battery, and the best part is that it can charge two devices, both at 20W at the same time. This gives it a definite advantage over other smaller power banks in this category, and with two USB-C ports you can realistically charge two phones at once. I used it with the Pixel 9 Pro XL, Xiaomi 14 UltraAnd iPhone 16 Pro Maxand he did a great job in that regard.

Each USB-C port is capable of going up to 20W total via the USB PD protocol (12V/1.67A), and in my testing I found it went up to 18 W on the Pixel 9 Pro XL. While it’s not on the same level as the 65W charging you get with larger power banks, the Mega 40 does a good job on its own, and whether you’re using a Galaxy phone, iPhone, or Pixel, it holds up quite well. .

I used the Mega 40 for a little over two months and didn’t notice any problems. It offered decent overall efficiency and was able to charge the Pixel 9 Pro XL and have enough to use with accessories. Its size means you can take it almost anywhere, and the two USB-C ports are a welcome addition.

The Mega 40 is available on Amazon India for ₹2,018and it’s good value considering there are two USB-C ports. It’s not the fastest on the market, but if you want something you can just throw in a bag and use anywhere to charge your phones, it’s a good choice.
