We always knew that Shannon I did not marry David Beador for social weight. The blonde grew up quite wealthy, as she lacked for nothing. Shannon’s family had its own elite status in the community, as they previously mentioned on Real Housewives of Orange County. In an old article on X, Shannon talked about her maternal grandfather, Robert Shannon. She shared that he was president of I. Magnin & Company, a popular department store that was later purchased by Macy’s in 1988.

Shannon was named after her grandfather and grew up in the affluent community of Rancho Santa Fe, considered one of the most expensive zip codes in the United States. David used to take issue with her upbringing and, in one episode, criticized her for being spoiled. Shannon noted, “I grew up in a privileged situation. I appreciate it.
