Another Black Friday is quickly approaching us, its arrival often bringing flashbacks to last year’s shopping frenzy – including the items you didn’t end up buying and wished you had all year . If a robot vacuum didn’t make the cut last year, may Black Friday 2024 be the time to finally give you a significantly shorter to-do list.

After dealing with your current clunky vacuum cleaner all year, there’s no reason to wait until November 29 to find a robot vacuum deal worthy of an upgrade. At this point, “Black Friday” is basically code for “the whole month of November.” Retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, and Target have already announced their official plans for Black Friday for the month, and tons of early (unofficial) robot vacuum deals on Amazon are already popping up. (More robot vacuums than I can count are cheaper in the first week of November than they were in the weeks after October Prime Day.)

Below I’m tracking robot vacuum deals live ahead of Black Friday. The deals are organized into two sections: non-mopping robot vacuums and robot vacuum and mop combos, with self-draining docks noted where applicable. In each category, all robot vacuum cleaner offers are ordered by price, from cheapest to most premium.

Why we love it

This nearly 50% discount on the Roomba Combo j5+ is great on the surface, but it seems like an even better deal compared to the current deal on the less smart model. Roomba Combo i5+. Starting November 4, you can officially purchase the Combo j5+ for $100 less than the Combo i5+.

Both models clean and require you to be home to manually click on the water tank, and both can map your home and avoid (or tackle) carpeted rooms on command. But there is a huge difference between the Combo i5 and the Combo j5 which led me to crown the Combo j5+ as the best Roomba cleaning value: The j5 is the cheapest Roomba that uses iRobot’s obstacle avoidance technology to avoid eating phone chargers or messing up pet droppings if the vacuum detects an accident before you do. This ability, which I first experienced while testing the j7+ handsetAbsolutely a game changer if your previous gripe with robot vacuums was that you had to tidy up before sending them out to clean.
