BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle suspected of being involved in a hit-and-run that occurred early Sunday morning.

Police say a car hit a pedestrian, who is now seriously injured, before leaving the scene of the accident.

The incident happened around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday on Red Bank Road, near Mars Lane.

Police say people should be on the lookout for a Nissan Pathfinder, a 2021-2025 model, that has damage to its front driver’s side.
