Tom Brady posts another mysterious message on Instagram

  • Tom Brady Posted Another Mysterious Message on His Instagram Stories Amid His Recent Broadcast Mistake
  • On November 3, Brady nearly violated the terms of his broadcast agreement with the NFL by openly criticizing officials.
  • The post follows a cryptic Instagram Story the former NFL star posted a day after PEOPLE confirmed his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen was pregnant.

Tom Brady‘s latest social media post left fans wondering if the retired NFL star is in his feelings.

Amidst the recent quarterbacking of the former on-air error and the news that his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen East pregnantBrady, 47, took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, November 5, to share a clip from Theodore Roosevelt’s 1910 speech at the Sorbonne.

Brady posted a photo of himself holding the passage – about a man who “fails again and again” – on a printed card.

“It’s not the criticism that counts; not the man who shows how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better,” the excerpt begins.

“The credit goes to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marked by dust and sweat and blood; who fights valiantly; who errs and fails again and again, because there is no effort without error and failure; but who actually strives to do the deeds.

The passage continues by praising the man who “expenses himself for a good cause; who at best knows in the end the triumph of high success, and who at worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, just as his place will never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat. »

Brady’s cryptic message comes as the Fox Sports analyst will not be penalized after possibly violating the terms of his deal to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Under his new arrangement as owner and broadcaster, Brady is not allowed to complain about officials or teams on-air.

So when he openly disagreed with the referees’ decision to eject Brian Branch for an illegal hit to the head on a receiver during the Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers game on Sunday, November 3, many wondered if the NFL would discipline his seven-time Super Bowl winner.

In September, Brady exclusively told PEOPLE that it’s been “really fun” transitioning to his new role at Fox Sports, but like anything else, it takes practice. “We’re working on it. We’re going to keep working,” he said at the time, adding that “it’s been a lot” to accept his new full-time job and “still be a parent.”

“We have our work lives that we all hopefully enjoy, and then we go home and we have to make time for it,” Brady told PEOPLE. “I’m doing what I love to do, which is spending time with my family and my children, and of course, fulfilling my responsibilities at work.”
