Jamaat-e-Islami demanded to prepare the complete list of martyrs of the anti-discrimination student movement.

Speaking at an exchange of views meeting with the families of the injured and martyrs in Dhaka today (November 16), the party member of central executive council and Ameer Mohammed Selim Uddin of Dhaka City North unit urged the government to immediately term the martyrs as national heroes and rehabilitate the injured by providing them with proper treatment.

“The martyrs sacrificed themselves to build a country without discrimination. Their sacrifice is incomparable,” he said.

KTV-24 organized the meeting, with its president, Sayed Masuk, chairing the discussion session.

Ameer town claimed that the Awami League had carried out a series of crackdowns against Jamaat activists.

He called on the government to hold perpetrators of the Awami League to account and ensure justice is done.

He urged everyone, regardless of parties and opinions, to work together to realize the dream of the student-people mass movement.

Major (Retd) Muhammad Imran, Jamaat Dhaka City North Unit Media and Publicity Secretary Muhammad Ataur Rahman Sarker, Comrade Siddiqur Rahman, Mustafa Kamal, Student Leader Anisur Rahman and Zubayer Siddique among others , spoke at the meeting.
