Purdue-Creighton charity exhibition game raises $150,000 for disaster relief

Saturday’s charity exhibition game between Purdue and Creighton brought in $150,000 in disaster relief funds, which was donated to the United Way of the Midlands Disaster Relief Fund, according to the Disaster Relief Fund Creighton.

In August, the two schools agreed to participate in a charity quiz aimed at raising money to help alleviate the disaster that struck Omaha and surrounding areas in April. Tornadoes swept through the region, causing more than $2 billion in damage.
