Heidi Klum’s Kids ‘Have Their Own Ideas’ for Halloween Costumes (Exclusive)

Heidi Klum is the Queen of Halloween and one of her children seems to be following in her footsteps.

Addressed exclusively to PEOPLE during the opening of CRAZY PIZZA in New York on Tuesday, October 29, the 51-year-old model shared that her four children — Leni20 years old, Henry, 19 years old, Johan, 17 years old, and Lou, 15 years old, whom she shares with her ex-husband Seal – create their own Halloween costumes.

“They have their own ideas,” she told PEOPLE, adding that her youngest daughter Lou is particularly interested in making costumes.

“I mean, Lou, especially. She makes her own stuff,” Klum says. “She also really likes anime. She makes all the wigs herself, like all the pink wigs… so she does it by herself.”

The proud mom even admits, “She’s pretty talented, I have to say, more talented than me when it comes to building things.”

“She buys all the props and then she puts on a little mask, like a real one,” she shares of Lou’s impressive costume-making skills. “She (wears the mask) when she wants to sand things and she builds things so she doesn’t inhale all the dust. She does it right.”

“If anyone has a big problem with dressing and stuff like that, it would be my Lou,” Klum adds.

The mom of four also revealed to PEOPLE at the event that she becomes “anxious” before revealing her elaborate costumes.

“I’m still anxious,” Klum admits. “Because there is no real trial. I can’t do a real fitting until I get there. Because I never know if it works until the day (of). And then you know, and then something happens and I’m like, “Oh my God.” »

Speaking of a previous accident with her costume, the America’s Got Talent the judge shares: “When I was an apple, and Seal was Eve.

“And because I was nine months pregnant and I wanted to make sure nothing could hurt the baby or anything like that,” she continues. “So I thought I was going to be this big apple, but then we forgot how am I going to get to the party?”
