Follow the latest Mexican Grand Prix timing updates

After F1 roared back to life with a thrilling United States Grand Prix weekend in Austin, Texas, it’s now straight across the border for the Mexican Grand Prix.

It promises to be another exciting weekend of action with no less than four teams and eight drivers vying for victory at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.

F1 Live: Follow all the action from the Mexican Grand Prix

Max Verstappen and Lando Norris look set to continue their fierce on-track rivalry after another ding-dong battle for the final podium spot at the Circuit of the Americas.

The latest flashpoint between the two has raised huge questions about how F1 as a whole is controlled by the FIA stewards and how the rules of engagement during overtaking procedures should truly be interpreted and applied.

Verstappen once again emerged victorious over his closest title rival, Norris, who is running out of race weekends to attract the Red Bull star and prevent him from winning a fourth consecutive F1 title.

But Verstappen is not the only driver Norris will have to watch this weekend in Mexico. Ferrari are back on the radar after a fantastic one-two finish at the United States Grand Prix and it would be foolish to exclude Mercedes, who seem quietly confident that their latest upgrade package of the season – presented at COTA – will bring them some fully return to the podium scene.

And if a return to form for Sergio Perez is going to happen anywhere, then it has to be at his home race. The iconic section of the stadium will support him as he attempts to help Red Bull get back into contention for the constructors’ title and, more importantly for him, attempt to save his own F1 career.

This race weekend is not to be missed and you can follow all the lap times live as they unfold. with the PlanetF1.com racing center. We will also have interactive live blogs covering all the action from qualifying and the race itself.
