The Packers have yet to allow a first down

The Packers force another punt after just three plays of the Jacksonville offense and will start from their own 20. The Jaguars have just 24 yards of total offense and don’t have a first down with 9:24 to play in the second quarter.

Interference call creates Jacobs’ TD

The Doubs can’t catch Love’s 3rd and 6 throws, but a pass interference call on Montaric Brown on 3rd and 6 puts the Packers on the 3-yard line and instead of a field goal, Jacobs scores a touchdown easy from three yards out, giving the Packers a 3-0 lead.

McKinney’s sixth interception gives the Packers early possession

On 2nd and 12 from their own 4-yard line, Trevor Lawrence’s pass intended for Christian Kirk was intercepted by Xavier McKinney at the 34-yard line. This was McKinney’s sixth interception this season.

Love intercepted in the red zone

A completion by running back Chris Brooks isn’t enough for a first down, but an illegal hand to the face gives the Packers a first down. However, on 2nd and 11, a throw from Love intended for Doubs on the 6-yard line was intercepted by Jarrian Jones.

The defense holds, the Packers in the red zone

The Jaguars only manage seven yards before having to punt, as neither offense looks strong early. Back from the medical tent, Love starts from his own seven-yard line and launches a 31-yard strike to Roméo Doubs. After a five-yard gain from Jacobs, Love hits Doubs over the middle for another 18 yards and a first down at the Jacksonville 33. On 2nd and 11, Love makes consecutive short throws to Dontayvion Wicks and Christian Watson for another first down at the Jacksonville 33. 22. On 2nd and 12, Love throws the ball to Reed 4 yards and the quarter ends.

Packers fail to move the chains, Jaguars have good field position

The Packers run the ball twice, then a third-down throw to Jayden Reed slips out of Reed’s hands as he dives for the ball. Whelan punt from the seven yard line and his 50 yard boot gives the Jaguars solid field position at the 50.

The Packers hold on, but have poor field position

The Packers force a 3rd and 4 from the Jaguars 23 and Lawrence fails to find an open receiver, running for two yards. A 73-yard punt forces the Packers to start at their own 2-yard line. Love is back on the field for the Packers.

Penalty suspension stalls Packers’ first drive, Love limps slightly off field

The Packers’ first three plays (two passes and a run) produced 24 yards after starting at 30. After a Jordan Love timeout with 12:59 left, a jet sweep to Jayden Reed yielded nothing. On 3rd and 3, Jacobs picks up 16 yards, but a holding call sets up a 3rd and 9 at the 46. Love gets kicked out of the pocket and throws incomplete throws and the Packers punt. Love landed a little awkwardly on his foot as he threw on the run and limped off the field.

Quay Walker inactive, Devonte Wyatt active

Quay Walker was unable to implement the concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s kickoff at Jacksonville Jaguars.

THE Green Bay Packers The linebacker is inactive after leaving last week’s game against the Houston Texans with a concussion. Walker, listed as questionable on Friday’s injury reportpracticed during the week but was not cleared for the game.

Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt is active after missing the last three games with an ankle injury. Wyatt’s return is important for the packersconsidering he could have been their best defensive lineman in the first month. Wyatt, also listed as questionable, had three sacks in his first four games before the injury.
