Sheriff asks for help finding missing service dog

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) – A search is underway in Jefferson County, Illinois for a missing service dog.

According to the sheriff’s office, the dog’s name is Harley. She disappeared after a vehicle she was in crashed Saturday evening on Interstate 57 near the 85-mile marker. Harley slipped off her collar but she’s chipped.

She is described as a 3 year old female chocolate lab.
