(NewsNation) — During a committee of the House of Representatives hearing on unidentified abnormal phenomena On Wednesday, lawmakers will hear from a number of witnesses about what they have seen and heard about UFOs.

Organized by the House Oversight Committee, the hearing, titled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth” will begin at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Luis Elizondo, former Pentagon insider, veteran and investigator; Retired Navy Rear Admiral Timothy Gallaudet; Journalist Michael Shellenberger and former NASA administrator Michael Gold are expected to testify.

This hearing is the first since the summer of 2023, triggered by David Grusch, Career Intelligence ManagerAllegations that the Pentagon operated a secret UFO recovery program.
